Now that ThunderClan has moved into their territory, ShadowClan cats hunt here more frequently, keeping it a secret from ThunderClan.[/blockquote]

After the flood happened a river had begun to leak out from the lake. It ran straight into ShadowClan territory from where the tunnel underneath ThunderClan was. Little creeks branched off from the river before it petered out. It is nothing compared to an actual river, but the ShadowClan cats have enjoyed the fresh water. It's located in one of the dryer and firmer parts of the territory. Bits of stone and mud make up the river with a few places for safe crossing. Though it has very little fish, the cats still enjoy hunting around it because it has attracted new prey that rarely came to the boggy land: Voles and shrews especially. ThunderClan hunts almost exclusively here; they dislike the taste of frogs and snakes. It reminds them of home.

Close to the camp, on firm land, is the burnt tree. Years ago lightening struck it; elder's enjoy telling the tail. For years they would avoid it, but after generations it's become a vital part of ShadowClan territory. Apprentinces are taught how to hunt at night here. Plenty of undergrowth allows for perfecting stalking techinques. Bramble bushes and ferns surround the area making perfect resting spots in the occasionally hot territory. A nice breeze often hits this spot during highsun. It has become a meeting place as well, the only tall tree for miles in the territory, the distinctive black burn makes it stand out.
