Personality talkative, outspoken, hyper, ambitious, flirty, trouble, nosy thistlepaw is a happy go lucky kind of cat. she knows how to have fun, and she loves to have fun. she's all about play and not doing work. the she-cat is an annoying one, she keeps on talking and talking and talking. once you get her started, she'll never shut up. she wouldn't care what you feel, she honestly wouldn't care if you got mad- she'd keep talking. she's not very sensitive to other's feelings and she thinks that she's the center of the world. thistlepaw isn't really like a thistle, but she can be when someone angers her- which is pretty tough. but her long thistle-like claws will come out and she'll attack mercilessly. it's like those female cat-fights, except it's a real fight. she doesn't care about what's right and what's wrong, as long as she wins. this is when the ambitious side of her comes out, and secretly, she'd love to be the best warrior in the whole forest. she just doesn't want to work to do it. thistlepaw is perhaps the most friendly she-cat you will ever meet. she will strike up a conversation with anyone and she thinks that everyone is her best friend. however, thistlepaw is also arrogant and conceited. she knows that she is pretty and she knows that she's what some would call "special". she has a wonderful nose that she isn't afraid to show off, and she has an uncanny ability to predict another's moves in battle. but her worst flaw is her wandering mind. she can't stay focused for more than two seconds, and she has the brain of a squirrel. in fact, she's more focused on not getting dirty and on what toms think of her that she doesn't really care about training or patrolling. she'd much rather sit around in the sun all day, chatting it up with some cute tom. History everyone knew that thistlepaw would be a fighter. her parents, strong shadowclan warriors, both died in battle shortly after she was born. the kit, along with two others, were left and were raised by the nursing queens. thistlekit was the most adventurous, she couldn't sit still and everyone willed her to shut up. she was quite different from her two brothers, eaglekit and thornkit, they were quiet and patient. she didn't know how to sit still and caused much trouble as a kit. it wasn't once or twice that she snuck out of camp and alarmed the clan. the elders and queens joked that thistlekit would be the death of the clan. eaglekit died shortly due to a badger attack. thistlekit and thornkit weren't very affected, and the clan knew that eaglekit was going to die. he was always a sickly kit, and if it wasn't for the badger, he would have passed away due to some sickness. some even dared to say good riddance. the two kits became one at the shoulder, and it was always thistlekit who dragged them into trouble. thornkit was the thinker and thistlekit was the doer.. in all sense, if it wasn't for thistlekit's constant nagging, thornkit wouldn't have had to change the elder's bedding. the clan wasn't sure what to do with thistlekit, but it was about time for her to become an apprentice. none of the warriors really wanted to mentor her- although she was fun, she would be a horrible listener, and she wouldn't follow orders. reason for name THISTLES are brown before they bloom to reveal the purple flower type thing. her pelt color reminded her parents of the brown-ness of a thistle. however, her name contradicts her personality. she is neither hard nor 'prickly'. HEART not because of her thistley heart- but because of her big heart and love for cats. Roleplay Sample the little she-cat waddled along side of her mentor and the three other warriors. the dark shadows hid the deputy well, and her? well she didn't exactly stand out. but she would have preferred it if her pelt was a dark silky black- oh how gorgeous that would be! her eyes glittered and her mind was in the clouds as she walked with the cats. they were all talking to each other, and she was the awkward little apprentice on the sidelines, just tagging along. she didn't mind that. she didn't mind at all. at least she was doing something- she could be just busy in the camp again, just talking with the other apprentices. all of a sudden, the patrol stopped. thistlepaw wasn't paying attention as she kept walking, until she realized that something was wrong. there wasn't any body heat around her. her amber eyes widened as she looked behind her, and she scrambled back to her patrol. smallclaw looked at her and gave her a nod asking her what she smelled. what she smelled? what did she smell? the she-cat was lost and she felt herself grow smaller under the gazes of the other warriors. but then again, she had nothing to be afraid of! the she-cat gave a little smile, desperately breathing through her nose and her mouth. looking for a trace, a hint of anything- but the scent of her mentor was clouding her nose. well i smell you, she said in a little squeaky voice, trying to lighten the mood. she breathed again, taking into account the different scents of the marsh mixed in together with the stink coming off of a gray surface, what the other cats would have called the thunderpath. she looked up, her orbs brimming with confidence and pride.and prey! i smell prey- like mouses or some other rodents- and you know, i'm actually feeling quite hungry.. her thoughts wandered as she looked over in the distance. she felt like she could hear something- cats' voices. do you hear that? it surely wasn't the other patrol? what were they doing so close to the borders? but before she could open her mouth to talk again something- the black deputy went into the direction that she was looking at. smallclaw gave orders, and she tried to match the way his body crouched down- she payed extra attention to her paws, making sure that they were as silent as they used to be when she crept up on her brother. as they walked closer, thistlepaw could feel her heart thundering in her chest. surely it wasn't anything dangerous? like rogues? or thunderclanners? but then again- they could take on those pesky thieves, code breakers. her whiskers twitched as a new scent flooded through her- a bitter scent. she could feel the tension in the air, and from the spot that she was standing she could see a great she-cat. she was perhaps the leader, the way that she held herself was shown that she had authority. around her was another apprentice, quite small, and she reminded thistlepaw of her own self. the other three warriors- a black warrior was off to the side, standing directly in front of the leader and the other warriors. his fur wasn't as ruffled as the other's. the two warriors, split images of the way the she-cat was standing. she had heard an argument, a disagreement, and it seemed like it was three against one. an unfair advantage. but they were arguing about what? she wanted to stay still for a bit more, to hear more of their talk, to understand why they were here and what they were doing. what in starclan's name were they doing on this side of the border? but she looked at smallclaw, wondering what he would do. he motioned for them to stay hidden- and her muscles tensed up. why was he going out? what did he think was going to happen? her mind raced with questions, and her she could feel the blood rushing through her ears. she was sure that the windclanners were able to hear her. there was no use in staying hidden- she was sure that they knew they were there. how could they not when her heart was beating so fast? the apprentice looked over at spiderleaf, wondering what he was going to do. and she wondered what smallclaw was planning- they were almost evenly matched, if it came down to a battle, but she was unskilled. she just became an apprentice today! her tail fluffed up in fear and in worry- something that she never let her self feel, something that the clan never saw her feel. and after a couple of deep, quiet breaths, she relaxed. if the worst came down, she would just have to go through with it. thornpaw was always the favorite- the warriors were dying to teach the big apprentice simple moves. and he taught that to her, she would just have to go with the flow and hope for the best. of course, the shadows were her best ally as well. she could always hide. thistlepaw heard smallclaw's deep grumble, saying something to the she-cat with authority. her amber eyes focused on the scene before her, drinking every action that was made, every word that was spoken, and the feelings that were thrown around. her lips curled into a smile at the words that he threw at her. dry humor, something that she would have to learn from him. his tone was like acid, burning deeper into the flesh, biting away at the tension within their own patrol. she knew for a fact that one of the other clan's cats would snap. and it wouldn't be pretty. and she knew that this was going to be led into a battle. a border skirmish. and thistlepaw was oddly okay with that. she saw her mentor leap at the pale colored warrior- claws out, teeth bared, and hostile. she would never want to face him in battle. her eyes looked at the other warriors in her patrol as she waited she heard spiderleaf's words and she nodded, not daring to speak. her eyes flashed over towards breezefur, wondering what was going on in the other she-cat's mind. thistlepaw sat there, close to spiderleaf, feeling her warmth. and that warmth was comforting. and she just hoped that everything would be okay.[/style][style=font-family:Arial Narrow;font-size:10px;text-align:center;margin-top:0px;letter-spacing:0px;color:#FFFFFF;]CODED BY RAIN OF ON THE EDGE![/style] |
