Personality silent, forgiving, perfectionist, passive, isolated, idealist, calm bearclaw is silent and strong, while he would never say anything harsh or out of line, when he feels like he needs to he will. and once you made the tom angry, he will forgive you in a little while, but it will take forever for him to forget. he doesn't take mistakes very easily, and tries his hardest to be perfect. he believes in the best of everyone and he will never accept anything less than perfection from himself or from others, which is a major flaw and virtue in himself. bearclaw would rather be alone than with a crowd of people. he tends not to trust easily, and takes matters in his own hands while dealing with his own life. while he is a man of few words, he tends to think deeply. he doesn't argue, but he does contribute his two cents when he believes that others are going in the wrong direction. he is never one to scold, but to teach. while he is patient and willing to use different techniques to deal with different personalities, he has one goal in mind: to make the forest a better place for peace. while he knows that his idea is impossible, bearclaw believes that the clans shouldn't go into batter, but they should settle arguments with words. he over analyzes his every action and every word, thinking of how it will affect others and himself in the future. he is not overly careful, but he believes that it is better to be safe than sorry. he is loyal and calm, even keeping his cool in heated arguments. he is distant, making sure that he isn't too close to any single cat so that he doesn't hurt them if anything were to happen to him. while bearclaw is the last to fight with claws, he is one to fight with words to protect the ones he loves dearly. he believes that his love should not be only for one cat, but for his whole clan, and for starclan. History tiger and shadow were never supposed to have kits. the kittypet and the rogue were never supposed to fall in love, and when it was revealed that shadow was pregnant. tiger did everything he could to stay by her side; but it didn't help that his owners bought a new house on the other side of town. tiger disappeared without ever getting a chance to say goodbye. shadow knew that she couldn't raise the kits by herself, it was leaf-bare and it prey was scare, she had to go to windclan, and she had her kits by the camp. the next morning, shadow was found dead and so were her kits. the only one that survived was a black kitten with haunting yellow eyes. miscloud took the kit in as her own, and she named him bearkit. bearkit grew up healthy and strong, and he was not like the other ones. while the others were anxious to go and become warriors, bearkit was content with living life. bearpaw's mentor was birdsong. while birdsong was a strong warrior, a great fighter, she taught bearpaw to love peace and to aim for it. birdsong tried her hardest to teach bearpaw that sometimes war was inevitable, but bearpaw would have none of that. in battle, he would never attack, but would defend. nevertheless, when birdsong was attacked by a band of rogues, bearpaw fought them off, showing that he could indeed fight. he just believed that blood shouldn't be shed over everything. when bearpaw became bearclaw, he became distant, usually taking long walks just to think. he became an advocate for peace, and a voice of reason in the clan. he would take no side, but he would argue and point out the 'enemy's point of view. sometimes saving the clan from rash decisions that would have lead to many lives being lost. he would argue against battle, but when lives where threatened he would agree that they must defend themselves. while bearclaw was never a leader of a battle patrol, he was a leader of all the defensive ones. the tom's apprentices, rainwater, pebbledrop, and quailfeather all became replicas of him: advocates for peace, defenders, calm, thoughtful cats. while bearclaw never fell in love, he fell in love with his clan. reason for name BEAR. his black pelt reminded his parents of a bear. as his personality. silent but strong. bears are rare to encounter, and so is meeting someone like bearclaw. CLAW. although it does show that he has sharp claws, it also has a deeper meaning. claws as in his personality. while he is not sharp in words or in actions, claws mean strong and sturdy. something that will protect. and in sense, he is strong and protective. Roleplay Sample his clan believed that they must go into battle against the rogues. he thought otherwise. the black tom walked through the chilly night sky, the breeze ruffling up his once brushed fur. his paws walked through the snow and the putrid smell of rotting carcasses of cats only a few foxlengths away from the great tom. his yellow eyes showed no feeling, no discontent, no distaste, no hatred, no sorrow. as he walked closer to the rotting cats, his eyes grew darker and deader. he was numb, there was no feeling inside of him, and his beating heart seemed to stop beating as he looked through the bodies. there was the cold white body of snowfrost... the once beautiful blue eyes that he could've looked into forever was now lifeless. birdpelt, his strong mentor that taught him everything he knew, was now twisted into an unnatural position. gorsepaw, his apprentice that showed so much potential.. so much that he hoped would become gorsestar one day. and finally, mistcloud. his mother who was always there for him, she had gone down fighting, the scars all over her body were a sign of it. she was barely recognizable, and he would never have known it was her if it were not for the nick in her right ear. the golden brown eyes were fading, and he could see his reflection in them. he was lost. as was his clan. as was his leader. bearclaw believed that going into battle was not the right thing to do. he was never the one who loved to see blood gushing. the pain that any cat would feel after lives were lost was something that he took in account. some would call him sensitive, others would call him thoughtful. bearclaw thought it was neither, he thought that war was morally wrong. like it was something starclan didn't want. peace was something that should be brought over the forest, like a blanket over a sleeping child, like snow over the moor, or like ice over the river. and it would calm them all. it would be for the best, and then no cat would have to go through that heartbreak. but how would he be able to express his opinions when the four cats he cared the most about had been mercilessly slaughtered. how could he be able to oppose the war when countless other cats have been slaughtered. all with families who loved them, clans who loved them, a significant other who loved them... how could he? snowfrost was beautiful. perhaps the only she-cat that he had felt something other than admiration for. he felt a deep longing for her, to feel her fur, to smell her, to look into those beautiful blue eyes. and he dreamed about her, about loving her, about raising a family with her. she was the only she-cat that he ever had thoughts about love and feelings of love. she was the only she-cat that could stand him, that didn't care that he was quiet and distant. who didn't care that he might love the clan too much to ever love her unconditionally. she was okay with that. and he was okay with her being okay with that. and he remembered, he planned on telling her he loved her at the next full moon. three sunsets from now. only three more days, and she would have been his.. and then there was birdpelt. the one who taught him so much, the one who told him it was okay not to be bloodthirsty. the one who made him think outside the box, and to not only be content with feeding and protecting the clan. the one who taught him to love his clan and starclan, and to love the other clans because they were just like them. they just wanted the best for their clans. birdpelt, the gentle soul that taught him everything he knew today. and everything that he passed down to his apprentices, and the one cat who he admired. the one cat who he promised would become when he was older. because she was unique, she was special. gorgepaw would have made an excellent leader, he was intelligent and he was funny. he knew exactly what other cats were thinking, and he was someone that bearclaw respected already, even though he was only an apprentice. he knew that gorgepaw would become a cat that the whole forest would admire, for his strength, his intelligence, his wits, and his comments. he was a funny cat, someone who knew how to brighten the days of everyone else. and he was wise too, well beyond his own moons. and mistcloud, his mother, his only kin. the cat that raised him and was there for him, the mother that every cat would want. his supporter, his teacher, his caregiver. he promised that he would never let anything happen to her, that she would live a long life without any worries and without suffering any more. and that he would make her proud. he knew that she would outlive him, for he was a warrior who would defend his clan, and she was a giving mother that only wanted to protect him and her clan. she was sweet, someone that everyone admired. she was motherly, taking in kittens without a mother- sharing her love equally among her real children and adoptive children. she was there for him and for everyone else. and they were all dead. gone. he felt a rage burning inside of him, something that he had never felt before. a rage that thirst for revenge. it came from the bottom of his heart, and it was like a forest fire, spreading through his legs and his ears and his brain, even to the tip of his tail. he wanted the blood that spilled the blood that he cared about, he wanted that. and he would give them a piece of his own medicine. peace was something that he originally wanted, but peace was something that wouldn't work. how would peace be negotiated with those who had no respect for the warrior code, for lives of others, who only cared about themselves and their own interests? bearclaw knew that his clan was right. they must go to war. although he did not like the idea of more lives being lost, the battle was inevitable. he drew in a deep breath, looked once more at the dead bodies of those he loved deeply, and turned around to go talk with nightstar. his clan believed they must go to war against the rogues. he agreed with them.[/style][style=font-family:Arial Narrow;font-size:10px;text-align:center;margin-top:0px;letter-spacing:0px;color:#FFFFFF;]CODED BY RAIN OF ON THE EDGE![/style] |
