Appearance
Eaglestrike an average-sized cat, but his markings are not that of your average silver tabby. The more common silver tabbies are just that; silver. But the common markings are black swirls that you couldn’t exactly call stripes. This tom is more of a general tabby; his darker markings are stripes, sort of that of a tiger’s or your average brown tabby. From this unique fur peers equally unique eyes; they are a glowing, dark azure that goes well with his fur. He has a very long tail and reasonably large paws.
Personality
-quiet.
Eaglestrike is undoubtedly one of the more quiet cats of ThunderClan, for all of the usual outspokenness and the bold personalities of their cats. He usually doesn’t speak unless absolutely needed, though there are a few exceptions (one of them being when he is feeling more confident than usual or flirting, though the latter isn’t very common).
-observant.
This tom is an extremely observant individual that learns exceptionally well by watching others. Eaglestrike has an excellent memory that helps in learning things by simply observing, as well. He is always trying to learn something new, whether it be about someone else, the clan, or the territory, and he is usually the warrior to go to if you want to dig up dirt on an enemy or one of your rivals in ThunderClan (this service is only available to ThunderClan cats. If you are of RiverClan, ShadowClan, or WindClan, please leave a message after the tone, and he’ll be sure to never get back to you on your request. Beeeeeeep!). Despite this, he is very cautious about who he gives info to, as he doesn’t like being on the bad side of others in his clan. He also has the tendency to stare, though he tries to keep it from being too obvious. This trait also gives him practically endless patience.
-charming.
If you can get this tom to speak, he is actually quite kind and has a lot of charm. He doesn’t let such charm wander too much (he doesn’t want to look like a flirt), but it does slip out, on occasion. He is a bit bashful about it if he is accused of being a flirt, and will apologize afterward because of it.
-slightly nosy.
Half of those in the clan never notice, but Eaglestrike can be sort of nosy, at times. He does it very, very subtly, and indirectly, but he can certainly be one of the more nosy cats in ThunderClan. He has the habit of gently prodding a subject over a long period of time in an inconspicuous manner, and eventually getting answers. This quality, mixed with his observing habits, makes him an excellent and well-practiced eavesdropper. He will apologize if you point it out his nosiness or if he is caught eavesdropping and try to refrain from doing it anymore until you’ve mostly forgotten about it.
-apologetic.
In case you haven’t noticed, Eaglestrike is a very apologetic cat. If he is caught doing something he is not supposed to be doing, or something that is frowned upon, he will immediately and overly apologize. It bothers him endlessly when he has not earned forgiveness, though he knows very well that he probably deserved it. He tries to repay debts to earn such mercy, but it doesn’t always work, and when it doesn’t, it leaves him quite disheartened.
History
-eaglekit.
He was a kit that remained nameless for a couple of days, as his parents were very indecisive on what to name him. They could agree on one thing, though; waiting a bit until his personality came through more. Before this could happen, though, he wandered away from the camp (like your average mischievous kit). It was on this day that the humans had released some rescued eagles at the edge of the Clans’ territory, and it was on this day that an eagle found the kit wandering around. The eagle flew back over ThunderClan camp, but as it did, it was met by another of its species. They fought over their still-live (and beyond terrified) prey, but ended up dropping him back into camp. Meanwhile, the camp had been in alarm at this, and had gathered in case he fell. He was caught, and wouldn’t move from his spot beside his mother for weeks out of trauma. Despite this, he earned the name Eaglekit. This run-in with the predatory bird destroyed any ideas of troublesome adventures he had earlier dreamed up, and made him more observant of his surroundings.
-eaglepaw.
Eaglepaw was an interesting apprentice, after he finally got over his fear of going more than twenty foxlengths out of camp. He was always wary of hunting birds (though this he eventually got over, though his deathly fear of eagles remained), but turned out to be a good fighter with a very quick front leg swipe. This earned him the suffix of his name; strike, even if he didn’t know it at the time. His apprentice hood was quite uneventful, and nothing particularly noticeable (except for overcoming his fear of hunting birds and leaving camp) occurred.
-eaglestrike.
Ironic humor was out and about when his warrior name was declared to be Eaglestrike; even he found it a bit funny that his warrior name corresponded with something that happened when he was a kit. As a warrior, Eaglestrike proved to be a decent hunter and a very helpful fighter. His observant personality alerted his Clan to a ShadowClan ambush once, and has also helped them decipher rumors that flit about at the gathering; an observant cat lingering around his side of the border happened to pick up a lot of info from gossiping, rivaling patrols, and his listening skills were always particularly useful at the gatherings themselves.
When he was out hunting one day, he found a baby eagle that had fallen from a nest. Another rescued eagle had been a bit confused as to where to make it, so he had made it in one of the taller trees. He promptly fled like a little chicken and never told anybody about the event.
He still has a deathly fear of eagles, even today.
