since they're around the same age i'm going to assume that they probably grew up together. i'm thinking they could be friends, perhaps pretty good friends even. however, they could possibly not have liked each other when they were apprentices. elm is very blunt and is a 'no nonsense' fellow.

swanfeather is the thunderclan medicine cat. i'm sure they would have known each other at the gatherings and the medicine cat meetings. perhaps they are pretty good friends? swan is asexual and is very affectionate and girly. so whatever you think is best.

Sorry for the late reply, but both of those could be fun. :] I'm sure Elm when they were younger would have noticed his interest in ShadowClan and wasn't too happy about it, but as soon as he saw Coal's attitude shift, starting liking Coal more... :]

And as for Birch, he's love to be friends with the ThunderClan meddie. He's a very friendly guy who doesn't like this tension between the Clans at all.
