Appearance formerly strong and muscular, the tom's weight has drastically changed over the course of a couple moons. he's a bit on the pudgy side now, sucking up all the cat food and table scraps his owners give him like a vacuum. he can still entertain himself with hunting the creatures that roam in his owner's garden, but running for a while is something he strains to avoid. he's a bright orange tabby, the blend of light and dark orange stripes encircling his body. his tail is quite fluffy while the rest of his fur is on the short-haired side. his nose, ears, and paw pads are a bright pink and his eyes are a dark emerald green. Personality due to his weight and the fact that he's a lonesome housecat, most other cats don't take pip seriously. he doesn't let their sneer glances or obviously judgmental stares get to him. he's very confident in who he is and wouldn't want to change for anything. while he can take a couple punches, insult his loved ones or family and you'll get what's coming to you. he doesn't joke around about that and he'll definitely give you what you deserve if you try. he might be as terrifying as a baby rabbit, but he's got a few harsh words, usually in-understandable in his slurry british accent. pip has a true heart of gold, surprising when you've heard of his past; you'd think he be a grumpy old hermit, but quite the opposite. he loves making friends, whether it's a small kitten or a grumpy elder, he's all for a good chat. he's very laid-back and easy-going, low maintenance, doesn't require much to be happy. a sunny day and a tasty mice is all he needs to be content. he's a bit spoiled; his owners love to spoil him frequently. he couldn't imagine living on his own and doesn't understand how loners do it. he's curious about the clan cats, but wouldn't last a day in their lives. he's got a temper that only rises when you say something that hits his weak spot; his past mostly. he doesn't like talking about it and rarely does. mention it and he will grow very quiet. overall, he's a cheery fellow, but everybody has their bad days- his are just more frequent. History he was born a kittypet to a pair of loving cats; ellie and duncan. his parents' owners were very wealthy and lived in a large house. they were both british, moved to the states from london, and pip's parents had strong accents from where they lived in london. pip's is a mixture between british and american; the american gained from interacting with the neighborhood cats. the only kit in his litter, pip got lonely growing up and only wished for someone to play with. his kithood was very spoiled, everything handed to him on a silver platter. when he reached around ten moons, he was given away to a new family, who lived in a picturesque house near the clan borders. he was depressed for a while, for having to leave his good life and parents behind. eventually, he grew accustomed to his new owners, a kind couple with no children. going on twelve moons, pip did something he greatly regrets to this day; he fell in love. he bumped into the lovely she-cat on his afternoon stroll, completely smitten at first sight. a delicate orange and white feline by the name of tabby. at first, the feelings were not mutual, but as time wore on and as pip pursued the young feline, they finally became mates. they did everything and anything together, head over heels for each other. sooner or later, they were going to have kits; pip was sure of it. it came sooner than they both expected. at the mere age of twenty months, pip was a father-to-be. they had no clue what to do or what to expect. thankfully, tabby's neighbor- felix - was born to medically intelligent parents who had a love for herbs. felix told them it was to be a small litter, probably of two. pip and tabby were excited beyond words; they already picked out names for their kits, all they had to do was wait for the little bundles to arrive. a couple moons after they learned of her pregnancy, the kits arrived, early. while walking on their daily afternoon stroll, tabby let out a whimper, and pip knew they were here. it was a short birth, with quite a lot of yowling, and two girls were born. amorette, who was to be nicknamed ammie, and layla. ammie was the spitting image of her mother, while layla had pip's fur colors. while pip licked little ammie, he noticed her fur unusually cold. when he leant down, he realized she had no pulse. amorette was born stillborn. before the parents had a chance to comprehend this, layla's breathing started acting up. it was coming out in panicky gasps, then shallow breaths. tabby ordered pip to get felix, but the worried father had already raced off. when he returned, only gone for at least two minutes, layla had died. pip was utterly shocked, words knocked out of his body. tabby was wailing in despair, felix was desperately trying to calm her down, and pip sat with his daughters' bodies at his paws. after the kits' deaths, tabby wasn't the same and neither was pip. they were formerly a happy, energetic couple, but now they were mostly silent, only exchanging the occasional glance of adoration. but when one loses his kits, his relationship takes a toll. a few moons after that, pip was not surprised when he went to tabby's house and she wasn't there. not believing it at first, he waited for hours for her to return. the only thing she left behind was her blue bandana that she wore around her neck, stuck in the tree where pip would come and wait for her. he knew it was meant for him, so now he wears the blue thing around his front paw, the only surviving memory of his former mate. she left when he was around 30 moons, and as a year and a couple months passed, he's still trying to put his past behind him.
